This unique pre-polished connector from Fiber Instruments Sales (FIS) uses common Cyanoacrylate adhesive (e.g. Super Glue) to achieve superior pull-strength of 1.75 lbs. Bobtails are ideal for many fiber optic applications including networks, emergency restoration work, and fiber optic testing. Singlemode and multimode versions are available. A translucent section of the Bobtail enables you to use a VFL to optimize the connector before epoxy application.
