Fiber Optic Lab Splices

Color-coded versions of the popular FIS Elastomeric Lab Splice are now available from Fiber Instrument Sales, Inc. (FIS). The new color-coded splices provide a convenient identification system when splicing multiple fiber optic cables.

The FIS Lab Splice is the solution for technicians who need a quick, easy way to connect bare fiber. The Lab Splice can be reused hundreds of times, which makes it especially useful in testing environments where equipment is changed frequently.

Available in new 6 and 12-splice blister packages, each Lab Splice is visible through its own clear-plastic canopy to make color selection easy. The FIS Lab Splice is suitable for multimode and singlemode fibers, and cladding diameters of 125 um to 140 um. Six colors available. Instructions included.
