New Fiber Fence Leasing Program

July 28, 2004 Fiber Instrument Sales, Inc. (FIS) offers a new Fiber Fence™ Leasing Program for facilities that need temporary perimeter security, such as construction sites and special events. The lease also provides a way for any facility to "try before they buy" a permanent installation. Patented Fiber Fence detects intrusion attempts anywhere along a perimeter. The system uses fiber optic sensing cable and triggering devices, called Mouse Trips, which install easily on existing perimeter fencing. A Control Unit alerts security personnel when an intruder disturbs the cable or the fence to which it is attached. The full-service lease provides for equipment installation, all maintenance, and system removal at end of lease. For facilities that decide to purchase the system, FIS will apply their entire lease payment toward the purchase.
