New Low-Cost Certification OTDR

September 8, 2004 The FIS Mini-OTDR has become a mighty, full-function Certification OTDR, thanks to new Certification Software from FIS. The software enables fiber optic installers to interface the OTDR with their own PC and printer to provide customers with printouts and/or electronic documentation of the certifications they require. It enables installers to use the Mini-OTDR to view and store traces in the field, and then download them to their office PC for further analysis and printing of the certification documents."
