Sumitomo Type 37SE Fusion Splicer
The Type-37SE is a lightweight, portable, fully automatic, self-contained instrument for creating low-loss optical fiber splices. This full-featured splicer features a user-friendly software package with on-screen operation instructions that help simplify training requirements. The operation can be performed in as little as 11 seconds with a typical splice loss of 0.02 decibels(dB) for identical single-mode fibers..

Sumitomo Type 39 - FastCat Splicer
The Type-39 FastCat's advanced electronic design, which accommodates the built-in dual heating system and simultaneous operation, reduces the bottle neck of "heater wait time" by 88%. With an individual heater cycle time of only 30 seconds (60mm Fiber Protection Sleeves) and a splice cycle of only 9 seconds, the FastCat improves splicing efficiency by 70%.

Sumitomo Type 65 Fusion Splicer
Type-65 can be used for all types of ribbon and single-fiber splicing with an optimum arrangement for ease of use in aerial and taut-sheath applications. It is highly portable at 6.6 lbs., and offers the user splice visibility with the fibers being displayed at approximately 40X magnification. The fiber viewing system simultaneously focuses up to 12 fibers at a time and maintains equal resolution across all fibers for improved accuracy of splice loss estimations. The Type-65 typically requires 30 seconds to make an automatic fusion splice and the average splice loss for identical single mode fibers is 0.04 decibels (dB).
