EXFO FIBERBASIX 50 SERIES POWER METER/LIGHT SOURCE
The EPM-50 Power Meter allows power measurements up to 26 dBm with battery autonomy of over 300 hours. It comes with a specific high power configuration for CATV and Telco markets. The ELS-50 Light Source offers the power stability and reliability necessary to perform loss measurement in Telco, CATV and FTTH applications using dual and triple wavelengths.
FLUKE ETHERSCOPE SERIES II
A handheld Gigabit LAN and 802.11 wireless LAN analyzer that assists network professionals with installation, validation and troubleshooting. Install and integrate infrastructure easily by testing, verifying and fixing configuration issues during deployment. Validate network performance and service delivery by measuring key performance attributes and the availability and responsiveness of essential resources. Diagnosis LAN health with one click. FIS CHEETAH SPLICE-ON CONNECTOR
The new Cheetah SOC is the quickest pre-polished factory terminated pigtail to prepare, splice and install. The Cheetah’s 25mm splice protection sleeve is encapsulated and protected by the strain relief boot eliminating the need for splice trays, chips and extra cabinets. When used with the required universal holder it allows for the SOC to be used within a variety of fiber optic fusion splicers such as Alcoa Fujikura (AFL), Sumitomo Electric and Fitel.
FIS CHEETAH SOC PROTECTION SLEEVE OVEN
The new Cheetah SOC Protection Sleeve Oven has been specifically engineered to provide a quick and uniform shrink on the protection sleeve of the Cheetah SOC. The oven’s small, compact design allows for easy storage and transportation. Also, its extended work surface and open design allow the Cheetah SOC to be transferred directly to the oven without removing the connector from the holder, which reduces fiber breakage.
SUMITOMO LYNX 2 FUSION SPLICE-ON-CONNECTORS
The Lynx 2 CustomFit Splice-On-Connector is a fully integratable splice-on fiber optic connector enabling quick, easy, and reliable customized FTTx, outside-plant, and inside-plant field terminations. The latest design of the Lynx 2 features a fast and easy to use screw-on collar to secure the Kevlar and jacket, eliminating the crimping process and the use of high priced crimping tools.
FIS UNIVERSAL SLIDING BOBTAIL HOLDER
The new and improved FIS assembly tool is now designed with a precision machined sled to aid in the insertion of the prepared field fiber. This feature virtually eliminates fiber stub breakage and minimizes insertion loss. Includes adapter plates for SC, LC, and ST Bobtail Connectors.
SUMITOMO MECHANICAL CONNECTORS
Sumitomo Electric Lightwave’s new quick Mechanical Field Assembly connectors feature Visible Inspection technology that launches a visible light from the ferrule allowing the technician to visually observe the disappearance of light, indicating the successful splice termination. Ready in less than two minutes without any adhesives or polishing processes, the mechanical connectors require only a jacket remover and fiber cleaver for easy, skill-free connectorizations. Sumitomo’s field assembly connectors are compatible with standard SC and LC connectors for bothmultimode
and single-mode fiber, and yield excellent insertion and return loss results.
FIS CONNECTOR POLISHER
The new FIS fiber optic polishing machine offers high performance for an industry leading value. With its small footprint it is optimal for production or field use. The FIS-550P has been constructed of hardened stainless steel and hard coated aluminum for ultimate precision and durability. Single speed platen and digital timer allow for simple and highly repeatable use.
FIS FIBER OPTIC TERMINATION BOX
FIS Wall Mount Fiber Optic Terminal Box is designed to provide protection for fiber optic connectors and splices in indoor or outdoor environments. The enclosure has a built in, swing-out mini splice tray plus a bulkhead panel with 2 SC cutouts ports. 2 Cable access ports with built in weather- tight grommets allow for easy cable installation.
