Although very compact, the FIS Ruggedized Mini-OTDR is a full-featured OTDR. It is encased in an impact-resistant, waterproof housing. The FIS Ruggedized Mini-OTDR is ideally suited for repair and maintenance applications as well as new installations including FTTH. Used with FIS Certification Software, this FIS OTDR enables the user to document and certify networks.
The FIS Ruggedized Mini-OTDR is very fast, producing a trace within one second of pressing the scan button. Among its many features is an easy-to-use Zoom that enables the user to observe the entire link, or zoom in on defects. Also, a CE approved version is available, as well as a 220V model.
In addition to testing and analyzing fiber optic systems, the FIS Ruggedized Mini-OTDR is a great tool for optimizing Quick-Connect Connectors and Mechanical Splices.
