FIS is proud to offer their new line of Micro-Distribution Cables for the Data Center Market. These cables are offered in Riser, Plenum or LSZH. They are available in OS2 Singlemode, OM2 62.5µm Multimode, OM2 50µm Multimode or OM3 50µm 10gig Multimode.

Micro-Distribution style cable is intended for use on hybrid cable assemblies which may utilize a ribbon connector such as MPO/MTP on one end and a standard single fiber connector such as LC, SC or ST on the opposite end. Ribbon cable is recommended for MPO/MTP to similar MPO/MTP on the opposite end to avoid problems with skew during high rate data transmissions. Optical Skew is the difference in propagation time between multi-fibers of a parallel transmission system.
