The ACCESS Master MT9083A Fiber Optic OTDR, or Optical Time Domain Reflectometer, features everything you need for easy, accurate optical testing. With its =1m deadzones and up to 38dB, you can use the MT0983A OTDR for any fiber optic testing application - from 50 foot fiber optic drops to 50 mile fiber optic backbone cables.

This fiber optic OTDR is part of the extensive line of hand held fiber optic test equipment available from FIS. You can choose from a wide range of fiber optic Light Sources, Power Meters, Visual Fault Locators, Continuity Testers, OTDR's and Loss Test Sets.

The ACCESS Master MT9083A Fiber Optic OTDR features extremely high resolution that enables you to see those closely spaced fiber optic connectors and splices, while still being able to certify 100+ km fiber spans quickly and accurately. In addition to verifying the integrity of the fiber plant, fiber optic network performance can also be verified.

This highly versatile fiber optic OTDR provides the tools you need to get the job done. This fiber optic OTDR features true one-button fault location, pass/fail classification, automated file saving and naming and even a macrobend detection feature for identifying fiber optic installation issues. Other features of the fiber optic OTDR include a compact, lightweight, and rugged design, a 6.5-inch TFT color LCD display, internal/USB data storage, easy-to- use interface and long battery life.
