FIS’s new splice protection sleeve oven is the perfect companion to any fusion splicer by allowing for the external shrinking of fiber protections sleeves extending the life of a fusion splicers battery allowing for more splices in the field and improving the efficiency of the splice process. Low profile allows for easy placement of either 40mm or 60mm fusion splice sleeves while providing a stable base for a variety of applications.
