Micro And Mini Fusion Splice Protection Sleeves

These Mini- and Micro-size Fiber Optic Fusion Splice Protection Sleeves are designed to fit smaller areas for fiber optic splice storage. Micro Sleeves will only accommodate 250µm coated optical fibers and have after-shrink diameter of 1.5mm. Mini Sleeves will accommodate 900µm or 250µm coated optical fibers and have after-shrink diameter of 2.0mm.

Fusion splice protection sleeves provide vital protection at the fused juncture between two fusion spliced optical fibers. In addition to providing a substitute for the original fiber optic cable jacket, splice protection sleeves provide a degree of rigidity that prevents the spliced area from bending or flexing.
