The patent-pending Cover Cop system ensures that only authorized personnel have access to telecommunications equipment and other vital utilities. Cover Cop Sensors signal an alert whenever a manhole cover or utility panel is opened, revealing to security personnel the exact location of the open cover. Dozens of manholes can be monitored with a single Cover Cop system. Cover Cop sensors do not use electricity, so they can’t spark an explosion in underground utilities where volatile gases may be present. Used in conjunction with Fiber Fence 50 or 3000 Control Unit, sold separately.
