Thomas Joslin
International Sales Manager

Thomas joined the FIS domestic sales division in March of 2004. Realizing Thomas had a diverse international education and experience, it only seemed natural for him to be promoted to the company’s export division shortly thereafter.

Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, and then earned a second Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business from the European School of Business (ESB) in Reutlingen, Germany. There he gained useful knowledge about business and European culture, as well as the ability to speak German.

Before coming to FIS, Thomas worked for a well-known freight forwarding company as a US Customs Broker. His export logistics experience continued with internships at BOSCH in Reutlingen, Germany and Daimler Chrysler in Stuttgart, Germany. He gained valuable sales experience with BMW in Munich, Germany when he worked in Executive Sales Strategy. Before moving back to Upstate New York to pursue his career with FIS, he lived in Reutlingen & Munich, Germany as well as Paris, France.

Thomas is currently studying the Spanish, French and Russian languages to complement his existing German fluency. Thomas has also completed the FIS Fiber Fence/Security training course, as well as Fiber Optics I.

In his spare time, Thomas enjoys the various outdoor experiences Central NY has to offer including hunting and fishing, and is a devoted fan of Clint Eastwood.
