Description

The FIS Thunder Bolt OTDR with 7 in 1 critical fiber optic tests incorporates a full-functioning Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) designed for ease-of-use in a wide range of testing applications and environments. The unique, integrated handle on the side of the tester provides the technician with a firm grasp during handling and fiber testing rubber corner bumpers protecting it from shock.

The Thunder Bolt has a intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) and large, high-visibility command keys that make it easy to select between optical testing features and parameter settings. The Thunder Bolt has the ability to accommodate different connector styles, which provides flexibility when moving from one interconnect location to another (Remember to use an OTDR launch box between the connector under test and the OTDR adapter test port).

The Thunder Bolt provides outstanding value in optical testing performance. Additional features include Gigabit Analyzer, Link Checker, Power Meter, Reporting Software, Visual Fault Locator and Connector Inspection Option.
