Products distributed by FIS include those of 3M, AMP/Tyco Electronics, Molex, Seikoh Giken, Corning, Corning Cable Systems, AFL Telecommunications, Leviton, Garrett Com, The Light Connection, FIS Blue and other major fiber optic suppliers.

FIS Blue is an affiliate company of FIS - Fiber Instrument Sales, which has provided quality fiber optic products and service to the U.S. Government and Broadcast industry for many years. FIS Blue continues that commitment of providing outstanding service to its customers.

FIS Blue's product line includes TFOCA-style connectors and fiber optic cable assemblies, both of which are well suited for harsh environment military applications.

In addition to manufacturing its own cable assemblies, FIS Blue is a distributor for major companies including Amphenol Fiber Systems International, Stratos, Tyco, Lemo, Telecast and Fischer.

The Light Connection (TLC) is a privately held company manufacturing products for the Fiber Optic Industry. TLC has over 20 years of industry experience in the design, application, and production of fiber optic components and equipment. TLC is a registered ISO 9001:2000 company, and is shipping RoHS compliant products. The modern TLC owned facility is located on a 14 acre site within an airport industrial complex. Our cable manufacturing equipment is the latest state of the art.

Using Corning fiber, we produce Simplex, Duplex, Tight Buffer, Distribution Cable, Indoor/Outdoor, Ribbon Cable, Micro-Distribution, Dry Loose Tube and Breakout Cable. Many of these cables are available with armor. Assembly accessories including furcation tubing, fanout kits and breakout kits are also available. All cables are available with Corning's entire line of fibers, such as InfiniCor laser enhanced multimode fibers, Corning® SMF-28e+™ Optical Singlemode Fibers and Bend-insensitive fibers.

Force Guided Relays International is a Sister Corporation of Fiber Instrument Sales Inc.(FIS) which was founded by Frank Giotto in 1985. FIS is a Manufacturer and Full Line Distributor of communication fiber optic test equipment, connectors, patchcord assembly, tool kits, fiber optic consumable items and Category 5 to customers in the US and 90 countries worldwide. Our company is based in an airport industrial complex in Oriskany, NY where we presently employ 160 people and maintain our own state of the art manufacturing facility of 40,000 square feet.

In early 2000, we developed a variety of custom control unit designs in conjunction with a number of customers. Some of these are customer-specific units and cannot be discussed here but others have developed into standard DIN RAIL units that can be customized to fill specific needs. These units have their own data sheets and can be found under FGR DIN RAIL UNITS in the Products Section.
