Micro-Distribution Cable

Micro Distribution Cables are multi-fiber cables that are most commonly used in high density applications like data centers. The overall outside diameter of a micro distribution cable is smaller than a regular distribution cable because the sub units in the cable contain color coded bare fibers instead of 900 micron tight buffered fibers. This allows the outside diameter of the cable to be much smaller which in turn allows more fibers to be located in the space allowed.
