December 1-2, 2026: Live Online Principles For FTTH

Our LIVE Online sessions are based on our extremely popular fiber optic classes that we have been conducting around the world since 1996. LIVE Online will provide you with hands-on instruction with theory, giving the students the knowledge needed in today’s fiber optic applications. During two consecutive days, students will gain experience with essential tools used by network installers and technicians. Online classes cover fiber optic splicing, termination methods, network testing, and more. This is a straightforward learning experience that provides a quick way to acquire the valuable knowledge needed to gain an understanding of the fiber optic industry and its applications. Live online training is great for both beginners and seasoned professionals who want to sharpen their skills.

This two-day introductory Fiber to the Home (FTTH) course is designed for technicians who have completed our Fiber Optic I and II courses or possess relevant field experience. The course covers the fundamental theory of FTTH, including system architecture, key components, and field-testing requirements. Hands-on training will feature introductory exercises with OTDRs and fusion splicer essentials, along with in-depth instruction on the operation of PON meters and channel analyzers. By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of FTTH systems, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to perform field installations and testing effectively.
