FIS Test Access Point (TAP) Panel with Cable Management Drawer 2RU with Integrated TAP Module

The 2RU CPRI interface panel provides test access for (6) active CPRI links. It features a cable management drawer that provides routing and storage options for incoming hybrid cable. Spare adapter ports for (6) duplex connectors are located on the module and are used to safely store inactive fibers.

The CPRI interface module is secured to a raised, removable platform within the drawer. This platform is easily detached during installation and management of spare hybrid cable and crossover jumpers. After completing the installation of fibers, close the drawer and access the CPRI data stream from non-service affecting ports located at the front of the panel. A captive screw on the front, right side of the drawer secures the interface panel in a closed position and prevents tampering with the live fibers during testing.

The CPRI interface panel uses color coded mating sleeves and a corresponding pin out map to guide the technician when installing fiber from the Remote Radio Head (RRH) and Baseband Unit (BBU) equipment. Uplink and downlink monitor ports are also mapped out on the front of the panel and indicate where to insert CPRI protocol analyzers during testing.
