The 4460-D/FO Shield Bond Connector is specifically designed to meet the bonding needs of fiber optic cables that contain metallic or fiberglass strength members. The connector is a version of the 4460-D Connector Assembly which utilizes two additional plates to capture and secure the strength members. Its current-carrying capacity is equal to or better than aluminum-shielded fiber optic cable and can be used on all cables with 20.3mm (0.8")or smaller O.D.
