The 4X SHD Breakout Cassette is designed to reduce installation time and increase cost efficiency within dense network infrastructures. This compact, modular solution provides a convenient solution when transitioning between duplex LC patch cables and multi-fiber MPO trunk cables. Install up to four 4X HD Breakout Cassettes in the compatible 1RU 4X SHD Cassette Enclosure (p/n F1RM1RU4XHD) for a maximum of 96 fibers in a 1RU rack mount enclosure. Use in conjunction with pre-terminated cable assemblies for easy installation and simplified cable management.
Cassettes are available in a variety of fiber configurations and polarities (Type A and B). Removable fiber ID cards and labeled MPO ports are used to identify the internal LC-MPO fiber breakout after cassette installation is complete. The 4X SHD Breakout Cassette is manufactured in the USA with the highest grade optical components, including Elite MTP ferrules. Each cassette is factory tested to provide the best network reliability and optical performance available. Cassettes are built with male MTP (pins installed) connectors unless otherwise noted. Standard color is black, also available in off-white.
