Corning® InfiniCor®300 Fiber, Bare Fiber, Multimode, OM1, 62.5/125um

Corningƒ¢¢"š¬¢"ž¢s Infinicor 300 multimode optical fiber was the worldƒ¢¢"š¬¢"ž¢s first 62.5um laser optimized fiber. This allowed Infinicor 300 to use VCSELƒ¢¢"š¬¢"ž¢s to transmit data instead of LEDƒ¢¢"š¬¢"ž¢s. Today this type of fiber is most commonly found in legacy networks and low data rate applications such as data transmission in power stations and pipeline applications. Infinicor 300 has a greater distance capability compared to other 62.5um optical fibers. This fiber is fully compatible with a broad range of legacy applications.
