FIS protection caps are designed to provide protection against various elements that could damage either the ferrule or fiber. The universal clear protection caps fit ST, FC and SC style 2.5mm ferrules.
The dust caps for adapters are easy to misplace and now FIS makes them just as easy to replace. Available in multiple colors, see chart above. Replace XX with the color desired: BL=Black, BU=Blue, GR=Green, BE=Beige AQ=Aqua.
LASER SAFETY CAPS for mating sleeves with metal tile
FIS has created a solution to the problem of laser light emitted from fiber optic bulkhead adapters. Our new Laser Safety Caps come with a warning symbol on each to visually alert people to potentially harmful exposure to laser light and cap has a built-in metal tile to stop laser light up to +18dBm. They are available for SC, LC, ST and FC styles. Replace X with the color desired: BL=Black, BLU=Blue, GR=Green, BE=Beige, AQ=Aqua, CL=Clear.
