FIS LYNX™ PRECISION CLEAVER


The LYNX provides clean, accurate cleaves required for fusion splicing. LYNX is also ideal for preparing fiber for quick-term style connectors such as Bobtails, UNICAMs and other pre-polished connectors. LYNX features a cleave angle of 90 degrees +/- 0.5 degrees. Its 16-position blade provides approximately 48,000 cleaves. LYNX cleaves single fibers (250-900µm). The LYNX Precision Cleaver can be used alone or mounted to an optional work tray that includes a goose neck LED (F1LYNXBASE).

AFL CLEAVERS


The CT-50 Cleaver sets the standard for portability, reliability, and ease of use. Available for either single fiber or ribbon splicing (up to 12 fiber ribbons) applications. The CT16 fiber cleaver from Fujikura was designed for FTTH or other space-constrained applications where ergonomics and durability are key. The 16-position blade in each cleaver offers a long life and performs cleaving in one single step. Each cleaver comes installed with a fixed adapter plate to hold your 250um and 900um fiber, with an additional AD-10-M24 fixed adapter plate needed for ribbon fiber (CT-50 only).

FITEL PRECISION CLEAVER


The Fitel S326A precision cleaver solves the dilemma of stray fibers with a unique disposal system incorporated into the design. The automatic cleave function provides constant cleaving pressure and improves cleave quality. The cutting blade locks into place after scoring, preventing double scoring. Also can be used to cleave ribbon fiber.


SUMITOMO ELECTRIC PRECISION CLEAVERS


With the introduction of the FC-6R+, you now can have the ultimate precision tool for your single and mass/multiple fiber cleaving with an auto rotating blade. As part of the FC-6+ family of precision fiber cleavers, it is a simple 1- Step operation for the user to remove or install the single fiber adapter and alternate between mass and single fiber cleaving. The FC-8R is Sumitomo Electric Lightwave’s 1-Step optical fiber cleaver with automatic blade rotation and a digital cleave counter. It is the ideal tool for use in fusion splicing, field termination, or any application that requires precision in a confined space. It has a simple cleaving operation that can be performed in the palm of the hand, allowing the user to take the cleaver to fiber in limited slack or cramped applications. A built-in extra large fiber scrap collector handles scrap fibers resulting from the cleaving process.

FIELD CLEAVERS


This field or "beaver" cleaver is suitable for use with quick-term connectors and optimal for mechanical splicing. Each cleaver provides a guide for variable cleave lengths from 5-20mm. The blades will perform over 6,000 cleaves before replacement is necessary. The score and snap function is easy to use and preferred by many installers. Note: No Export Available for F1-0010 and CL008.
AFL THERMAL STRIPPERS


The RS01, RS02, RS03 and RS03-80 Thermal Strippers provide superior stripping performance for both single and multi-fiber stripping. The fast heating time of 3 seconds speeds productivity. The ergonomic design, combined with the low level of force needed for stripping, makes the RS series comfortable and easy to use for high fiber count applications. The strippers are also capable of stripping 200 μm coated fibers and ribbons. An audible beep and illuminated LED signal indicate that the proper heating temperature has been reached. A temperature selection switch permits easy field optimization for different fibers or operating conditions. These strippers accept all Fujikura field and factory style fiber holders. Bluetooth® capabilities on the RS02 and RS03 models provide a convenient way to program the stripper for user preferences via an Android or iOS smartphone app. The RS03 model includes a powerful Lithium-Ion battery that delivers enough power for 600 stripping cycles. The RS03-80 is offered for stripping 80 μm cladding fiber applications.

AFL RT-02 RIBBONIZING TOOL
