DWDM OSP PASSIVE MODULES

Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Passive Outside Plant (OSP) Modules are available in 2, 4, 8, 16, 20 and 40 channels. These passive modules utilize 100GHz or 200GHz channel spacing; this is represented in the part number by the variable Y (1=100GHz and 2=200GHZ). These modules are available with ITU channels 20 – 60. The DWDM modules are sold unconnectorized with 1 meter 900um tight buffered leads but FIS can install any connector that you choose. The OSP rating makes them rugged enough to work in the harshest of environments (-40~+85) in your NEMA rated enclosures. When ordering please note the starting channel (ex. Channel 20 = 20, Channel 40 = 40 etc.) as the two XX variables at the end of your part number. Applications include FFTH (Fiber to the Home), R&D test labs and anywhere the separation of fiber signals is required.

DWDM LGX PASSIVE MODULES

Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) LGX (Light Guide Cross-connect) Modules are available in 2, 4, 8, 16, 20 and 40 channels. These passive modules utilize 100GHz or 200GHz channel spacing; this is represented in the part number by the variable Y (1=100GHz and 2=200GHZ). These modules are available with ITU channels 20 – 60. The DWDM LGX modules are sold with LC/APC connectors (w/ adapters) and packaged inside of a cassette. The cassette is plug and play making installation quick and efficient. The LGX standard or foot print is widely used with rack and wall enclosure face plates. These modules are 1 RU (Rack Unit – 1.75 inches) and fit into a standard 19 inch enclosure. When ordering please note the starting channel (ex. Channel 20 = 20, Channel 40 = 40 etc.) as the two XX variables at the end of your part number.
