EXFO PPM1 SERVICE ACTIVATION PON POWER METER


Next-generation passive optical networks (PONs) will, in most cases, leverage existing outdoor plant infrastructure already in use for PON customers. Adding new services on existing networks translates into overlaying multiple wavelengths on the same physical fiber plant. EXFO’s PPM1 is compatible with multiple services including GPON, EPON, XGS-PON and 10G-EPON technologies. Its PON-layer wavelength-selective design allows it to measure up to two downstream signals simultaneously, assessing power level for rapid and reliable service activation. By leveraging customizable or preset PON layer configurations, the PPM1 notifies the user and recommends the available PON layer for the network under test for proper pass/fail assessment, enabling error-free testing.

PXM/LXM MPO OPTICAL LOSS TEST SET (OLTS)


The PXM/LXM combo is an MPO tester designed to efficiently qualify a large number of MPO links. It tests MPO-12 cables at 2 wavelengths in just 1 second, the fastest test time in the industry. The FasTesT feature provides loss per channel at the 2 selected wavelengths, as well as the polarity type of the link under test automatically when continuity is detected.
The LXM light source includes a VFL that is in-line on the same port as the MPO source itself. Combining those two features on the same port makes them convenient to use. The VFL can trace a fiber right to the other end of the link so that the technician on the other end can easily find the MPO port to which they need to connect the PXM. The VFL also makes it easy to locate macrobends or breaks in the fiber.

EXFO FIBERBASIX 50 SERIES POWER METER OR LIGHT SOURCE


The EPM-50 Power Meter allows power measurements up to 26 dBm with battery life of over 300 hours. It comes with a specific high power configuration for CATV and Telco markets. The ELS-50 Light Source offers the power stability and reliability necessary to perform loss measurement in Telco, CATV and FTTH applications using dual and triple wavelengths. Additional kits available.
Each Unit Includes: Soft pouch, PMA-22 FC connector adapter, LSA-89 FC connector adapter, quick reference sticker in five languages, Certificate of Calibration, Certificate of Compliance, and three AA batteries.

EXFO FOT-300/600 OPTICAL LOSS TEST SET (OLTS)


The FOT-300 OLTS has both a built-in power meter and light source for bi-directional testing without technicians needing to exchange equipment.
The FOT-600 features a pass/fail LED indicator and lets the technician set their own thresholds of absolute or relative loss measurements. When utilizing auto-switching mode, the light source automatically toggles between available wavelengths. The unit recognizes the wavelength in use and switches to the proper calibration parameter. The FOT-600 has both built-in power meter and light source for bi-directional testing.
