Fiber Optic Outdoor Enclosures

The 700 series is manufactured for outside environments with IP54 rating and special gasketing. Has (2) cable ports on each side and up to 5 drop cable ports in center. Made of UV-resistant polycarbonate. 24 simplex SC cutouts in panel, accept SC Simplex, MTP/MPO as well as LC Duplex adapters for capacity of 24 or 48 (LC) fibers. Fusion splice tray included.

The 800 series has 16 outlet ports for drop cables and 2 inlet ports. Made of UV-resistant polycarbonate. IP54 protected with special gasketing. Easy side latching system with lockable door. (16) simplex SC cutouts on panel accommodating (16) SC or MTP/MPO adapters or (32) LC connectors using duplex mating adapters. Also install PLC splitters inside enclosure for PONs. Adapters not included.

The 600 series is designed for harsh environments with IP65 rating and gasket seal on the door. The polycarbonate is UV resistant. Comes with standard interconnect panel with duplex SC cutouts. Install SC duplex, MPO/MTP, or LC quad mating sleeves/adapters to accept up to 48 or 96 (LC) fibers. Splice Trays are included and mounted on the back wall behind the hinged adapter panels. Some cable management accessories included as well as grounding screw. Adapters not included.

FIS Wall Mount Fiber Optic NID Terminal Box is designed to provide protection for fiber optic connectors and splices in indoor or outdoor environments (IP65 Rated). The enclosure has a built in, swing-out mini splice tray plus a bulkhead panel with SC cutout ports. 2 or 3 Cable access ports with built in weather-tight grommets allow for easy cable installation. Adapters not included.

The 400 series termination box is IP65 rated and made with polycarbonate for UV-Resistance. Accommodates (12) SC simplex adapters or duplex LC adapters for up to 24 fibers. Splices can be stored behind adapter panel and cable management is located on back of enclosure. (3) ports provided on bottom with gasketed ports. Adapters not included.

The OptiNID (OPN) 500 is an optical demarcation closure designed for use in either indoor or outdoor environments. Smaller to suit FTTH demarcation applications and versatile to suit Category cable or coax connections, the closure is capable of housing up to six bulkhead adapters in one LGX® 118 compatible adapter plate.

The latest entry in the AFL family of NID products. Can hold up to 4 SC simplex or LC duplex adapters and has built in splice sleeve holders for 18 single fiber or 6 ribbon fiber splices. Can install both quick termination and splice on connectors such as FUSECONNECT. Available with two different base cable entry options, wither “U” shaped drop in grommets or (2) half inch ports for cable entry.

This polycarbonate enclosure is a great alternative to steel enclosures with features such as partial molded hinges and poured in polyurethane gasket for the best sealing from weather elements. Optional mounting features include ears for wall mounting or bands for pole mounting. Two entrance glands on bottom of enclosure accept (1) trunk cable and up to (5) 5.5-6mm round drop cables for FTTH or Remote Radio Head (RRH) applications. Side latch features
hole for pad lock to secure enclosure.

Enclosure supports cross connecting of up to 48 fibers with LC duplex adapters or 24 fibers with simplex SC style adapters. The adapters are mounted on an angle to provide better cable management, avoiding tight bend radius. The front panel tips forward to allow technician access to cable management rings and bridge stances to secure cable slack and dress appropriately feeding adapter panel. This unique feature allows for cleaning or video inspection of connectors inside adapters prior to mating with other connectors. Supports LCAPC, LCUPC, SCAPC and SCUPC adapters and accepts factory terminated connectors with the use of larger liquid tight cable compression glands.

The In-Home Fiber Interconnect Wall Plate features a junction box mounting platform, a fiber slack storage spool with up to 5 feet of 3mm fiber slack storage, a snap on cover with security screw,  a vertical or horizontal distribution, and angled or straight exit. It can also be configured for fiber connection accessible from outside or protected inside the cover.
