Furcation Tubing
The TLC 2mm, 3mm, 3.8mm, and 4.8mm furcation tubing consists of an inner tube surrounded by aramid yarn and an overall PVC jacket. Twelve standard colors are available. Inner tubes are available in specific sizes to accept either bare or buffered fibers.
TLC’s 900 micron furcation tubing is a single tube designed specifically for the protection and termination of 250µm bare fiber.
Twelve standard colors in Hytrel® as well as clear PVC are available.

2.0mm FURCATION TUBE
Our 2.0mm furcation tubing has an inner tube surrounded by aramid fibers. The inner tube accepts 250µm bare fiber and 900µm tight buffered (1.5mm OD inner tube for 900µm) fiber. Other colors available.

3.0mm FURCATION TUBE
Our 3.0mm furcation tube that accepts 900µm has an inner tube with a Pull String. The 900µm inner hollow tube, the same tube found in FIS Universal Breakout Kits, may now be purchased separately. Includes aramid yarn strength member. Other colors available. (PS) Indicates Pull String.

TLC 2.0mm and 3.0mm duplex furcation tubing consists of an inner tube surrounded by aramid fibers, and a PVC jacket sized for the industry standard connectors. The duplex design allows for professional termination of connector pairs. (PS) Indicates Pull String.

RIBBON FURCATION TUBE
FIS offers ribbon furcation tubing for protection of bare ribbon fibers. Standard size fits fiber counts of 4, 6, 8 and 12 fibers. There is no inner tube or strength member.
