FIS can provide turnkey solutions for your fiber interconnect needs by manufacturing custom enclosures at its manufacturing facility in Upstate New York.

Expertise in fiber optics gives you access to the supply chain required to populate enclosures with connector adapters, splice trays or pre-terminated cable assemblies.

Our true manufacturing starts with flat aluminum or light gauge metal sheets which are loaded into state-of-the-art turret punch press that delivers fast, economical, and accurate parts. These parts are finished on press brakes before moving onto cleaning tanks or put into our welding shop for increased rigidness or sealing. Two in-house paint booths apply powder coat to metal parts for polished appearance and protection against environmental elements.

Mechanical engineers will review your provided CAD drawings or can assist in the development of a custom designed fiber enclosure.

Enclosures can be built for indoor or outdoor use with NEMA-rated certification tests. Engineering fees may apply depending on the scope of the project.
