This fiber optic patch cable, made with Corning® SMF-28® Ultra Fiber has an APC or "Angled Physical Contact" polish on one fiber optic connector end face and a UPC or "Ultra Physical Contact" polish on the other connector end face. The APC polish provides lower back reflection. And the UPC polish results in a highly radiused domed end face surface that optimizes physical contact between the mated fiber cores.
