The FIBER FENCE Security System utilizes bend sensitive fiber optic cable making the fiber a sensor. Simplex fiber (single fiber in one jacket) is used in a loop to the furthest point on the fence and returns to the Zone Control Unit. Depending on the installation, every inch of the fiber can detect attenuation as small as 3dB.
