This visual fault locator (VFL) has an ergonomic design, is small in size, is easy to operate and is portable and integrated with a launching indicator. VFLs are typically used to inspect a damaged, bent or broken point of a optical fiber, cable, patchcord as well as establishing overall continuity. If the inspected fiber has a defect, the user could find the red light at the broken, bent or damaged point.
F1-VFLH visually is suitable for both singlemode and multimode moder fiber. The performance of the visual source may act differently with different fiber length and attenuation.
