The Fitel Lightfinder Optical Fiber Identifier is a lightweight, hand-held, easy-to-use fiber optic test device that enables you to safely and effectively identify transmission direction, fiber path and relative core power on live optical fibers.
In addition to this fiber optic tester, FIS offers a broad selection of fiber optic test equipment including OTDR's, Light Sources, Power Meters, Loss Test Sets, Visual Fault Locators and Continuity Testers.
The Fitel Optical Fiber Identifier uses the super-low insertion loss local detection method of macro-bending. LED displays and audible tone indicators provide you with clear identification. This unit enables you to detect optical signals during installation and maintenance without disconnecting the optical fiber or interrupting the traffic signals in a fiber optic network. This battery-powered Optical Fiber Identifier includes interchangeable fiber optic adapter heads that accept coated, ribbon or jacketed fiber optic cables.
