This fiber optic stripping tool is great for stripping and butting tight buffer fiber optic cables. You use one blade to butt PVC fiber optic cable sheathing the second blade to strip the sheathing. This Optical Fiber Cable Sheath Stripper & Ring tool can be used with many types of materials. You can adjust this fiber optic stripping tool for stripping .018" or .031" thick plastic, rubber or fabric insulation.
This fiber optic cable stripping tool has a contoured grip, enabling you to maintain a firm grasp of the tool during the cable stripping process. The tool is brightly colored, so there is little chance that you will misplace it when working in the field.
