FIS is providing high-performance optical fiber OTDR kits featuring the Anritsu MT9090A compact handheld Singlemode TriWave OTDR. This OTDR has both traditional OTDR trace scan format and Anritsu Fiber Visualizer for technicians unfamiliar with interpreting OTDR event trace scans.

Three wavelengths to locate the smallest macro bend and a built-in power meter make this a powerful troubleshooting tool for field engineers and technicians.

This optical tester is paired with armored test cables. The armored cables look like standard fiber patch cables, but they have a steel spiral armored core that protects the optical fiber from bends and breakage. Connector ferrule end-face cleaners for ongoing good practices, armored test reference jumpers to adapt in the field, and visual fault locators (VFLs) to provide visual continuity or troubleshooting are available for an all-around rocket ship of an optical test kit.
