LC Connector Menu

The LC connector licensed by Lucent Technologies provides a pull-proof design and its small size is perfect for high density applications.  It is available in simplex and duplex versions and accommodates singlemode and multimode fiber types.  The LC connector uses a 1.25mm zirconia ferrule.  The LC connector has a unique latching mechanism that provides stability in system rack mounts.

LC Splice On Connectors

LC Splice On Connectors use a fusion splicer to terminate optical fibers.  The LC Splice On Connector significantly reduces the time that it takes to install a connector compared to epoxy and polish style connectors.  The FIS LC Cheetah and ARMORdillo Splice On Connectors are a factory polished and terminated pigtail that are simple to prepare, splice and install.  The splice protection sleeve is encapsulated and protected by the strain relief boot which eliminates the need for fusion splice trays, chips and extra space in network racks.  These SOCs meet or exceed industry standards for loss and back reflection.

FIS LC BobTail No Polish Connectors

The FIS LC Bobtail Connector provides a factory pre-polished quick termination style connector for a fiber optic industry leading value.  The LC Bobtail connector is ideal for many applications including local area networks (LANs), restoration work, testing applications and laboratory settings.  The open epoxy channel allows you to apply Super Glue or any cyanoacrylate adhesive to provide superior pull strength.

LC Quick Termination Connectors

LC Quick Termination Connectors have a factory pre-polished ferrule that meets or exceeds industry standards for loss and back reflection.  These LC quick term connectors save installers significant time in the field compared to epoxy style connectors that are labor intensive and require a certain amount of skill to install.  These LC connectors are a good solution for LANs, testing, restoration and lab use.

LC Terminator / Black Hole Connectors

LC Terminator or Blackhole Connectors are designed to be installed in unused ports in network rack and wall mounts to reduce harmful back reflection in fiber optic systems.  The LC terminator connector is environmentally sealed for protection.  They are available in APC and UPC polishes.
