SPLICE-ON CONNECTORS

FIS manufactures field solutions for terminating optical fibers like our Splice-On Connectors (SOC) that ensure reliable and efficient fiber optic connections.

FIS Splice-On Connectors are unique, used with their patented connector holder these connectors can be used in the most popular brand of fusion splicers sold such as AFL, Sumitomo, Fitel/OFS, and FIS. Customers who use a different branded splicer can make inquiry on a custom SOC holder to accommodate the FIS Splice-On Connectors.

FIS has two offerings of Splice-On Connectors, the Cheetah for 250um and 900um buffered fiber and the Armadillo for 2mm or 3mm jacketed fiber cables. These connectors are manufactured, and quality inspected prior to single or bulk packaging at FIS.
