Fiber Optic Distribution Cables feature 900um tight buffered fibers that make terminations faster and easier because there is no need to install breakout kits. Connectors can be terminated directly on to the tight buffered fibers and pigtails can also easily be fusion spliced to the backbone or trunk cable. These cables are available with fiber counts from 2 to 144 optical fibers. Fiber counts over 12 are grouped in subunits of 12 fibers. These distribution style cables are available with or without aluminum interlocking armor.
