Buffer Tube Ringer/Stripper with adjustable blades can be set for any depth to help assure nick-free jacket entry. Use for simplex fiber and a variety of fiber optic cables up to 1/8 inch diameter. Loose tube fiber demands a precision tool capable of cutting different buffer tube diameters without nicking the enclosed fiber. Also available is the blue buffer tube stripper for cable from 1/8 inch to 7/32 inch.

Strips round cable .250-.563 inches (6.4mm to 14.3mm) diameter. Adjustable blade, 1 or 2 step stripping, plus jacket slitting. .560 inch (14.22mm) blade spacing, rounded edge slitting blade included.

The Miller Round Cable Slitters are manually operated cutting devices designed for fast, safe and precise jacket removal of PE, PVC and rubber jacket. The F1-114 is designed to strip cables from 4.5mm to 29mm Diameter. The F1-158 is designed to strip cables from 19mm to 40mm Diameter.

The Round Cable Slitter removes outer jackets and insulations from 4.5mm to 28.5mm O.D. Stripping action is both circumferential, then longitudinal for removal of insulation section at the end or mid-span of wires. Adjustable depth up to 3mm. Weight: 4.2oz, Dimensions: 135 x 40 x 15mm.

Used for stripping and butting tight buffer optical fiber cables. Use one blade to butt PVC sheathing and use the second blade to strip the sheathing. Adjustable for .018” or .031” thick plastic, rubber or fabric insulation.

MBO5-7000

This tool slits outer polyethylene jacket and armor in one operation. Performs longitudinal slitting and circumferential (ringing) for end stripping. Blade rotates 90º by activating blade lever, allowing easy mid-span preparation (ringing and splitting) – Replacement blades available. Adjusts from 8-28.6mm OD.
