TAP (Test Access Point) Enclosure Products

This 1RU modular chassis can be loaded with up to (3) Mini TAP modules, providing monitoring access for (18) access points. Each Mini TAP module has (6) monitor ports. The monitor ports are located in the rear of the unit and are protected by a removable shield. Each monitor port is pre-loaded with terminators, preventing high back reflections on SFPs and test equipment. It uses passive fiber optic couplers that are non-band specific, and the panel can be used for either High Band or Low Band connections.

The 2RU TAP interface drawer features integrated cable management to route incoming standard or HybriFlex cables within the enclosure. This panel provides test access for up to (6) active TAP Links. It uses passive fiber optic couplers that are non-band specific, and the panel can be used for either High Band or Low Band connections. All necessary mounting hardware, including 19” and 23” brackets are included.

This 19” Wide 4RU High Density TAP interface panel has capacity for up to (12) Mini TAP interface modules. This enclosure provides test access for up to (72) active links when loaded with (12) Mini TAP interface modules. Once loaded with modules, fibers from the Tx/BBH and Rx/RRH are routed into the front of the unit and monitoring access is located in the back of the chassis. Cable management rings and tie downs are integrated to organize incoming fibers within the front of the chassis.

Network modules are available in preloaded enclosures or sold separately.

FIS specialty optical TAP duplex cable assemblies can be used in place of standard patch cable and provide non-service affecting output leg to access to live network traffic for monitoring or inspecting. Saves rack space required for splitter modules, available in different split ratios for OM4 or Singlemode fiber. Different lengths are available, indicate length at time of order.
