Course Objective
The student will become familiar with the basic FTTX architecture, more specifically a FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network. Also covered are the components used in this network. Achieved is an understanding of how these components work together delivering a signal from the head-end, ending at the delivery destination or customer.
A focus and emphasis is placed on reviewing the basics of how these fiber optic components and test equipment are used in the FTTH applications.
